Residential

Check out the duct sealing case studies. The biggest waster of energy in your home may be your central heating and cooling system. Everyone is concerned about saving energy these days, and the energy you are wasting may be costing you hundreds if not thousands of dollars per year. This wasted money will remain in your pocket rather than being sent to your power company every month. The cost of an Aeroseal installation can usually be recouped in 24-36 months with the savings in the energy costs. Once the cost is recouped, the homeowner retains this savings in lower monthly power bills for themselves.

The Aeroseal duct sealing system effectively seals residential home’s ductwork from the inside by using a UL tested and approved sealing material. It's clean, safe, and guaranteed for 10 years in residential application.

In an Aeroseal air duct diagnostic, a certified Aeroseal technician inspects and evaluates your central air duct system and recommends ways to maximize your savings and improve your home comfort.

Major factors during inspections are construction practices, type of duct work, age of the home / building, hot or cold or stuffy rooms, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) problems, high energy bills etc.

Aeroseal Home Duct SealingA call to Aeroseal Southeast’s office will get the process of your duct inspection started. There are several steps in the process of having your duct systems sealed.

  • First, we must verify that your duct system has enough leakage to warrant the cost of having them sealed. This is initial inspection and duct system leakage test is performed to determine the levels of leakage in your home. There is a small fee that covers the cost of performing this inspection. This fee will be refunded by a reduction in the cost of Aeroseal if you decide to have your ducts sealed.
  • If your system is determined to have enough leakage to warrant Aeroseal the next step is to schedule the Aeroseal procedure.
  • The Aeroseal procedure includes: cleaning of the duct work; pretesting the ducts to determine the amount of before leakage; the actual sealing process; and the final post seal test to determine the final results of the seal.
Did you know...DID YOU KNOW?

The U.S. Department of Energy and the Electric Power Research Institute determined ... 25% to 40% of the heating and cooling energy put out by heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems ... is lost through the ductwork system.
